Leah J. Zammit
Leah J. Zammit received her undergraduate degrees in International Studies and Psychology from the American University in Washington D.C.
Thereafter, she attended Stetson University College of Law, considered to be the best trial school in the country. After graduating cum laude, Leah began her career at a prestigious Orlando law firm. In 2001, she relocated to Atlanta and honed her civil litigation trial skills. She left “big firm” Atlanta practice in 2005 and opened her own firm —concentrating on all matters affecting small businesses and individual family matters.
Leah J. Zammit was appointed as a Cobb County Magistrate Judge in 2005 and served in such a capacity until 2009. She is active in the community and served on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Georgia YWCA, an organization dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She is a frequent lecturer on divorce related matters and legal ethics. Her eldest son is a paralegal in New York City, and her youngest is beginning his high school journey! She has a soft spot in her heart for unwanted animals—often opening up her home to foster dogs. She enjoys tennis, reading, music and cooking
